DJ101 – January Sessions
January Sessions Start Saturday, January 6th, 2024 and runs through Saturday, January 27th, 2024. Classes are held every Saturday.
WEEK 1: Saturday, January 6th
Scratch 101:
Teaching The fundamentals of equipment. Learn to setup and operate a variety of industry standard Dj equipment. (Rane, pioneer, technics)
WEEK 2: Saturday, January 13th
Mixing 101
Learn how to navigate record pools, build a DJ library, and setup crates for gigs.
Week 3: Saturday, January 20th
Beat Matching 101
Learn basic song structure, what a bpm is, basic mix theory (beat matching).
Week 4: Saturday, January 27th
Scratching 101
Learn basic scratch techniques, baby scratch, scribble and cross faded settings and movements.
