DJ101 – March Sessions
March Sessions Start Saturday, March 6th, 2024 and runs through Saturday, March 23rd, 2024. Classes are held every Saturday.
WEEK 1: Saturday, March 2nd
Scratch 101:
Teaching The fundamentals of equipment. Learn to setup and operate a variety of industry standard Dj equipment. (Rane, pioneer, technics)
WEEK 2: Saturday, March 9th
Mixing 101
Learn how to navigate record pools, build a DJ library, and setup crates for gigs.
Week 3: Saturday, March 16th
Beat Matching 101
Learn basic song structure, what a bpm is, basic mix theory (beat matching).
Week 4: Saturday, March 23rd
Scratching 101
Learn basic scratch techniques, baby scratch, scribble and cross faded settings and movements.
